Cameron Kinghorn & Friends

Cameron Kinghorn is a vocalist, trumpeter, and songwriter who performs regularly at major venues in the Twin Cities, as well as nationally and internationally. As a vocalist Cameron performs most frequently as the frontman of the Soul/R&B group Nooky Jones, whose most recent EP Like Candy was released in September of 2019, marked by a release show at the legendary Paisley Park on September 28th, 2019. Cameron is also the vocalist of a new lo-fi R&B group called King Pari, and a debut EP from the band is expected to be released in 2020. As a trumpeter Cameron is most frequently seen performing with the Afrobeat/Afrofunk band Black Market Brass, whose new LP Undying Thirst was released in February of 2020 on Colemine Records. When Cameron isn’t making and performing music of his own he can be seen performing with local, national, and international artists such as Dessa and The Minnesota Orchestra, The New Standards, Aby Wolf and Champagne Confetti, and Mild High Club, with whom he performed at the 2018 Coachella Music Festival.
